United Islamia Govt. High School is one of the most reknowned and oldest schools in Madaripur.It was established in 1948 naming Islamia High School where only muslim boys students were able to read in.Then it was near the Haikarmar Ghat.Later another schoool called Madaripur High School got attached with Islamia Govt High school and it took a name of UNITED ISLAMIA GOVT HIGH SCHOOL because of being joint.

ember him with due respect for his devoted sacrifice for the school.In 1968 this school got nationalized.Now the school is situated near college road.
